Ragna Berlin

StråKulla

In November and December 2009 I bound two nets from sisal twine. The first days in January 2010 we were four people gathering outdoors in a beautiful winter landscape outside Katrineholm on the estate Claestorp two hours drive from Stockholm. With plenty of snow and 15-20 C degrees below zero we started the work with filling the nets with straw. We worked the few hours of daylight, (8:42am-3:23pm) for three days. With hard work and good sprit we kept warm as the sculpture took shape.

As of July 9, 2010 the sculpture do no more exist.
