Traffic Circle in Kinna, Sweden
The international textile company Ludvig Svensson commissioned a proposal for art with a textile theme in the center of a traffic circle in Kinna, Sweden.
My concept was a classical European fountain with a stone barrier, a sculptural centerpiece, and smaller volumes around. The stone barrier created a horizontal foundation for the sloping traffic circle. I let movement of light substitute movement of water in a fountain. The greenery of plants replaces the glittering of water surface.
